Planning a Guizhou family journey at a comfortable pace

Published:

Choose the experiences your family wants

Tell Yijin whether waterfalls, village visits or scenic walks matter most to your group. Share the ages of children and any difficulty with long walks. A short list of priorities makes it easier to discuss a Guizhou itinerary that suits the people travelling.

Consider transfers and overnight places together

For a route involving Huangguoshu, Libo and Xijiang, compare the time spent visiting with the time spent moving between places. Ask where each day begins and ends. If your family prefers a slower journey, discuss fewer overnight changes or a more focused route.

Explain the support you need

Yijin has professional English-speaking and Korean-speaking guides. Request your preferred language and identify the sightseeing days needing a guide. A driver-led product and a guided private family journey have different scopes, so check the guide’s accompaniment and vehicle arrangements separately.

Make room for meals and rest

Discuss room sharing, luggage, food preferences and meal timing before the schedule is finalised. Village visits can include time to look around rather than a full programme of activities. Particular performances and experiences should be confirmed for your dates.

Review the family plan as a whole

Check the daily route, walking sections, hotel locations, guide language and included services together. Tell us which requests are essential and which are flexible. Before booking, agree how changes to the route or the group’s needs would be handled in the confirmed proposal.
